2500 Green Bay Rd

LEED-Silver Multifamily Residence

This four-story twelve-unit development located in Evanston successfully attained a LEED Silver certification with Eco Achievers. Boasting 29% energy savings and geothermal heating and cooling, this multifamily residence will lighten utility costs for occupants while delivering comfort. Efficient dual-flush and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) WaterSense fixtures promote reduced water usage, and drought-tolerant landscaping means that irrigation water demand will be lowered by an estimated 61%.

Emphasis was also given to environmentally preferred products including 45% recycled exterior siding and low-emission hard flooring. During construction, local options for waste diversion were investigated and diversion rate for construction waste was recorded.
